Hello dear readers! How have you been? It’s been yet another minute! I hope you’ve been well and winning.
So this week, I came across a scripture that got my attention and thought to share today;
The LORD directs our steps, so why try to understand everything along the way?
Proverbs 20 v24
If you are like me and you’ve control issues, then this scripture is just for you. Can you imagine following blindly and not trying to figure out everything God is doing or planning for and with our lives? How can we possibly do this?
He has asked us to
Actually, it sounds crazy to me! It only comes naturally to us to try to figure out the outcome of our current plans, next steps and the future but the Almighty is telling us we shouldn’t try to understand everything along the way because He knows His ways are not our ways.
As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts
Isaiah 55 v 9
He designed you
My father is an engineer and as a child, I used to watch him design and create games with my brothers and they basically decided what could happen in the game using certain commands. I think this is similar to what God did when He made us, He designed what could happen and should happen and this is the reason He wants us to relax and trust completely in that perfect plan.
His thoughts are of good
For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future
Jeremiah 29 v 11
God is our heavenly and merciful Father; He thinks about us and His thoughts towards us are really good thoughts. There is no evil or disaster in His plans and thoughts for us, we just need to accept this and rejoice in this.
The more I think about this, the more I find myself thinking ‘isn’t this easier said than done’? But His grace is really sufficient for us so I’ve been praying for grace to actually walk in this because it is true. I pray for the same grace for you too.
Have a lovely week and please share this with your friends. Also, please follow us on social media!

The best way to live is with trust in his plan
We cannot go wrong by trusting God’s plan.
The practicalities of trust though.
What do we tell ourselves when we are in the midst of the decisions/challenges/plan?
Thank you for this reminder. Trust God all the way!
