Hi everyone! I trust you are well today. I wanted to share the concept of a phrase I use so frequently and how it can bring joy and God’s presence to your day (I didn’t coin this phrase, it is actually from a book). This concept is also easy to teach children.
We all know what a wink is, a nonverbal form of communication that acknowledges a person in a friendly manner. Do you know God also winks at us daily? It is the way God tells you, “I am with you, right here, right now, and I see you,” without actually being dramatic (sometimes actually quite dramatic).

Has there been a time you were thinking about someone and they sent a text or called? You were about to leave home, forgetting something important, and you suddenly felt a pull to go back in and realised that saved you some time or stress in the future.
It might even have been a time you needed something and provision came unexpectedly, or the time you heard the same word or scripture more than once in a few days. There are so many winks from God daily; the reason we don’t see them many times is because we are not looking out for them.

There is something beautiful about expecting to feel God’s presence as you go about your day. You always feel it.
Are not five sparrows sold for two pennies? Yet not one of them is forgotten by God. Luke 12:6
God has us in mind, will never take His eyes off us, and He wants us to carry this consciousness daily.
Every sunrise is God’s gentle reminder that His mercies are new every morning, and ordinary moments are often where God hides His extraordinary grace.

So, today, as you walk around your garden, on your road, or even drive around, remember that every living thing breathes because of God and enjoy that presence. Stop yourself every now and again, and ask how God is speaking to you through things.
My God wink this morning was receiving a message about my lost AirPod being found on the day I was about to buy a new one.
I would like to hear stories of your God wink, and maybe some will be published on our IG stories if you don’t mind. I leave you with the peace of God!
