Princess T shares her thoughts on Noah’s ask Part 2

Hi everyone, welcome back! How have you been? Over here in Uk, we’ve had about a week of sunshine and it has been almost too good to be true…..hahahaha

This week we will continue on our conversation from last time, if you missed it, kindly click here

  • The word of God gives light

The entrance of Your words gives light;
It gives understanding to the simple

Psalms 119 v 130

Again, let us remember Jesus Christ Himself is the word , He became flesh and lived amongst us. The scriptures will give you light and direction about any situation or topic. There is instruction in the word about every aspect of life; what to do and what not to do.

This light clears out darkness, so if there’s anything representative of darkness (difficulty, confusion, lack, sin ) around you, the word shines light into it

The Light shines on in the darkness, and the darkness did not understand it or overpower it or appropriate it or absorb it [and is unreceptive to it].

John 1 v 5
  • The word is a weapon

For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

Hebrews 4 v 12

As we do not wrestle against flesh and blood (Eph 6 v 12), our weapon of warfare is the word. Using the word of God as a weapon, you will pull down and build up .

So I ask you again, ‘why are you not using the word?’

  • The word corrects and instructs

Every scripture is inspired by God and is useful for teaching, for showing mistakes, for correcting, and for training character

2 Tim 3 v 16

There isn’t many things as refreshing as being corrected by the word of God if we humble ourselves. Our thoughts, actions, way of life and culture can come under scrutiny of the word if we allow the word to work in us.

  • The word never fails

For the word of God will never fail.

Luke 1 v 37

The word is dependable , both as a promise and as a tool. Let us commit to growing in the word and allowing it to fill us richly.
