Hi there and long time no see (or no read ..lol). I’m still here in a quiet corner doing the Lord’s work
and I hope you have been well since our last blog
So a few days ago, my daughter and I were listening to some worship music whilst doing some
house chores and she randomly asked ‘what do I’ve to do to audition for an angel role in heaven’
I paused and wondered how many times we desire what we already have/are because of a lack of
knowledge, for some months now we have talked about identity in our prayer group and I believe it
is important to us in this season. I started to teach her what the Bible says about angels and I
thought I would share this.
We are seated together with Christ
And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in
Christ Jesus Eph 2 v 6It is no longer a place to desire but a place to rest
Angels serve believers
Are not all angels ministering spirits sent to serve those who will inherit salvation?
Hebrews 1 v 14Angels serve believers, they are agents who the Lord uses to minister to His children.
This is a clear indication of God placing His children in a higher inheritance
Believers Will Judge Angels
Do you not know that we shall judge angels? How much more, things that pertain to this life?
1 Cor 6 v 3
Scripture clearly states we shall one day judge angels, this shows that God gave us authority
over angels in His eternal order
God put all things under our authority
What are mere mortals that you should think about them,
human beings that you should care for them?
Yet you made them only a little lower than God
and crowned them with glory and honor.
You gave them charge of everything you made,
putting all things under their authorityPsalms 8 v 4-6
Angels were not given authority over all things, instead men were given the authority, this is
a position to be revered
It is important that we give ourselves more into seeking knowledge of our identity through the
word of God so we do not miss out on what has been freely give to us
